This method consists of continuous column distillation, also called "Armagnac still". It preserves the delicate aromas of wines and produces an eau-de-vie rich in flavors and complexity.

After distillation, the Armagnacs du Bas-Armagnac are placed inoak barrels for aging. The barrels used are often old barrels, which allows the eaux-de-vie to gradually mature and develop their characteristic aromatic bouquet.
