THE Château de Laubade was founded in 1870, in the heart of Gascogne. Today, the third generation of the family ensures the destiny of this 105 hectare vineyard, in the heart of the Lower Armagnac terroir. Go and discover the treasures of Château de Laubade Through this range of brutes of barrels. This 1985 vintage from ownership grapes benefits from a simple and separate distillation, grape variety by grape. This vintage, distilled from Baco, d ’Ugni Blanc and of Colombard is then put undergrowth in barrels shaped to the property for a breeding of the greatest finesse. This 1985 vintage is deliberately left to its natural degree of 48.4 ° until it bottled.

Appearance: Light mahogany dress
Nose: nobility and finesse, aromas of rancio, dried fruits, figs, nuts, spices, orange bark, milk and smoked notes.
On the palate: a lot of maturity, power and deep complexity.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.
