Discover XF, a curiosity of Laubade. Laubade explores a very specific heating modality with XF and the result will interest fans of spirits offering a different experience, combining strength and freshness.
This Armagnac distilled from the grapes of the property exclusively from the grape variety Ugni Blanc was harvested and vinified in 2015. Part of this lot is raised in a single oak of Gascogne benefiting from an extra strong heater of the Dorreau family cooperage.
The barrel is then placed in cellar n ° 4 of the house, strategic choice because this cellar is relatively damp, thus allowing thebrandy A good wood intake.

The dress is amber and very clear.
The nose offers a wide palette where spices are expressed, then toasted notes, prunes and candied fruit. On the palate, XF is creamy and well integrates the “grilled” of wood with freshness and liveliness. The length in the mouth is remarkable.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.
