The richness of Tariquet Armagnacs is found throughout its range. For decades, the estate has been distilling and aging to the point of having an exceptional collection.
This cask strength, made exclusively from the Folle-Blanche grape variety, is assembled from different unreduced eaux-de-vie, the youngest of which is at least 15 years old. Its natural alcohol content is 47.2°.

A brilliant color with mahogany reflections. An intense and complex nose of candied orange, rancio, honey, and Madagascar pepper. The delicious amplitude of the attack and the density on the palate carry a power without aggressiveness in the intense rise of spices. The brightness of the rancio unites everything in a long and suave finish of dried fruits (pineapple, apple, grape).
Serving at room temperature or slightly warm in the hands enhances its aromatic richness.

Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is to the west of the appellation, in an area which runs from Nogaro to Villeneuve-de-Marsan, Roquefort, Gabarret (to the west), between Gers and Landes, to return to the western part of the Gers as far as Eauze. Bas-Armagnac represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the land, the soils are sandy loam, called “tawny sands”. Bas-Armagnac eaux-de-vie are delicate and very fruity.
